Water, water everywhere, maybe Mountains preferable?

The violent storms on both coasts recently have me thinking about those beautiful waterfront properties that are always so appealing. Now, with current climate changes and the nature of mother nature turning on us at times, in large and dangerous ways,  it seems like maybe the Northeast is the best and most appealing location in the nation, after all! The Hudson Valley in New York, and the Berkshires in New England are beautiful year round. True, it can get a bit cold in the winter, but then you have those wonderful winter sports like skiing, ice skating, building a snowman with or without your kids, etc., and/or the pleasure of staying in reading a good book while sipping a favorite glass of wine, perhaps listening to a great piece of music, all next to a warm and roaring fireplace.

What could be better? These areas now offer most of what the big cities offer, without the crowds, the lines, the noise, and in some cases, the prices! Yet, near to Boston, NYC, for that ‘big city fix’ that does occasionally call.

Natural beauty prevails all along the New York and New England corridors: rolling hills, unobstructed views of the sky, and clean fresh air to breathe! Fine dining, antiquing, sports of every kind, theater, museums, it’s all here!

You can always visit the coastal areas, vacation there, and then come back home, without the worry of property damage in your absence.

I love the water! But, I hope never to be caught in any of those storms we’re witnessing now. To all my family, friends, loved ones, strangers, (pets, too!) who are in the midst of Irma or still cleaning up from Harvey, we’re sending all our best wishes for your health and safety. Be well, stay well, and then maybe…..

Take a ride here, the leaves will be turning glorious hues soon, and it’s high ‘apple picking’ time, come!

We’re here to welcome you with open arms!
