The flowers are blooming and the countryside is bursting with color! It’s that time of year when you want to kick off your shoes, and relax in the sunshine, at the same time, you’re eager to get out to swim, kayak,row, sail, hike, garden, bike, golf, horseback ride, and/or any number of other things this warm gorgeous weather allows us to do. Plus, dining alfresco! One of the joys of the season! Whether barbecuing, having an informal picnic, potluck, or hosting a glorious sit down dinner outdoors, it’s a time to delight in the warmth of the season. You’ve opened the pool, cleared the decks, and dusted the furniture on the screened porch, and you’re ready for fun!

There is so much to do this time of year. Stay tuned, I will be sharing a roster of activities for you in the Hudson Valley, specifically Columbia and Dutchess Counties, as well as the Berkshires, land of Tanglewood, Jacobs Pillow, Spac, and Shakespeare and Co., just to name a few of the many fantastic venues to enjoy this season.

Oh, and there’s always the joy of seeking and finding your very own home in the Country! Only 2+ hrs. to New York and/or Boston, and yet miles away in terms of fresh air, boundless greenery, and as much or as little activity and socializing as you prefer. So many people have started out as ‘weekenders’, escaping from the hectic, noisy, bustle of the City, to spending more and more time in the Country, until many, ultimately leave the City altogether, and decide to make the Country their full time home! It’s truly addictive. Come, spend a little time here, and you’ll see for yourself why so many never want to leave!
