This year’s festival promises to be spectacular, offering a diverse collection of special screenings as well as exciting, fun and interesting events. In addition to seeing a roster of terrific films, you can participate in events with some of our local film celebrities such as James Ivory of Ivory and Merchant, and actor Scott Cohen, among others. Natalie Portman stars in the new film ‘Jackie’, portraying Jackie Kennedy in the days following Kennedy’s assassination, when she must navigate her personal mourning with the demands of the Nation simultaneously. Actor Karen Allen, who resides in nearby Great Barrington, Ma. stars in ‘Year by the Sea’, another featured film of the festival. And, as always, there is a sneak preview on Saturday night, a chance to be among the first to view a spectacular new film,to be revealed only that evening.
Films and events will be held in Chatham and Hudson, and should be an exciting week to be in Columbia County!
