Thanksgiving is a special holiday, a time to reflect and truly be thankful for all we have. At a time when we’re experiencing so many natural and man-made disasters, it’s also a time to think of all those people who have suffered great loss in recent days, from Pittsburgh to California, and do whatever you possibly can do to ease the suffering of others. It could be a donation, a call, a card, a prayer. It all helps. And, most of all be kind to those around you, loving to those you care about, and helpful to those nearby who might need a helping hand. Make it a true Thanksgiving, maybe just a little less stuffing, and a bit more giving.
