First Snow of the Season!

with No Comments

Winter has arrived, even before the official date on the calendar. The area was blanketed with a covering of pretty powdered snow, half a foot in some places, but rendering all theĀ  landscape that New England and the Northeast are noted for, and so coveted, magical. Temps were hovering at freezing, not too cold to walk outside or play in the crisp clean air. The words ‘Winter Wonderland’ seem fitting. And, just in time to ring in the holiday season!

Real estate has moved briskly this year, and inventory for property on the market is now down 25%. Interest rates are still at record lows, although there are many more cash buyers in the market, than ever before. Homes, when priced correctly tend to sell within 90 days. Others linger, not in line with the market price point. Buyers tend to move quickly when they find something they fall in love with, and often with cash, can make very appealing offers, bypassing banks and other financial institutions, enabling them to move quickly from offer to closing.

So, if you are looking to buy or sell, hope you will take this information as a base from which to move forward. And, hope, too, that you will call us to allow us to assist you through the process, whether buying or selling. We’d be delighted to put our 30+ years of expertise and knowledge to work for you!

Meanwhile, from our house to yours, we wish you the very best in the New Year!
