December, the Month of Good Cheer!

with No Comments

Just on time, actually a bit early this year, winter came in, albeit not yet officially. The hills and mountains are lined with the premature snow, and chilly climes abound. Fun for the kids, and those grownup too who love the crisp outdoors at this time of year: cross-country and down hill skiing, snow-shoeing, making snowmen, sledding, then coming into the warmth of a cozy fire and hot chocolate, oh, the good life!

The streets are filled with light, and folks are feeling the glow of the season’s message: a time to embrace and be thankful for all you have, a time to care about your loved ones and neighbors, a time of kindness, ultimately a time of love.

Each new year, indeed, each new day, we get the chance to renew and restore: ourselves, our relationships, our values, our deeds, our thoughts, our goals, our hopes and prayers. Like our fellow earthly creatures, the snake, we get to shed our old skin, the one that’s collected all the outdated and negative information, sloughing it off so we may continue to stretch and grow. What a great concept, no longer necessary to carry yesterday’s baggage. Release, shed, stretch, and breathe into the refreshed version of yourself and who you want to be.

We at AGSRE wish you every good thing in this holiday season, a happy and exciting venture as you try on that new skin.

Cheers to all,

AGSRE
